To Create an Actual Dimension Note
1. Click Annotate > Annotations > Actual Dimension Note. The Select Reference dialog box opens.
2. Click for any reference on an entity or surface, or for midpoint of an edge or an entity as a reference, on the Select Reference dialog box.
3. Select the type of leader on the LEADER TYPE menu. The Select Point dialog box opens.
4. Select one of the following placement options on the Select Point dialog box:
◦ — Places the note at the free point that you select on the drawing.
◦ — Places the note at the absolute coordinates defined by the X and Y values with reference to the drawing origin. Click OK on the Select Point dialog box to confirm the X and Y values for the coordinates.
◦ — Places the note on the drawing object that you select.
◦ — Places the note on the vertex that you select.
The origin of the note text box is placed at the location that you select.
