About Defining the Drawing Layout
You can create and modify views using the Layout tab for drawings. You can also use the commands on this tab for the following operations:
• Manage drawing models
• Manage sheets
• Add graphs, overlays, and OLE objects
When you work with drawing layouts, the Drawing Tree displays all the drawing sheets, views, overlays, graphs, and OLE objects in the drawing. However, you can expand only the node applicable for the current sheet. The Model Tree displays components of the currently active drawing model.
You can select drawing objects from the Model Tree or the Drawing Tree. You can also use the options in the drawing object filter to select objects graphically in the drawing.
