About Simplified Representations

You can set the representation level of all components, screws, and dowel pins. Because this functionality is based on suppressing and resuming features or components, you can create features in simplified representations.

1. Click Framework >

Simplified Representations. The Simplified Representations dialog box opens.

2. Set the level of simplified representation:

Type of simplified representation	Low detail (default)	Medium detail	Full detail
Entire assembly
Selected components
Screw or dowel pin connections	All holes, screws and dowel pins are visible.	All screws and dowel pins are hidden; holes are visible.	All holes, screws and dowel pins are hidden.

3. Close the Simplified Representations dialog box.
