Projected Lines in Creo Elements/Direct Annotation

Overview

This command allows users to create an additional line for any purpose which is associative to the base geometry.

Activation

Enter into command line

   (load "projected_line") 

Or add this line to your customization file.

Loading this file will create a button in the toolbox.

Description

This command allows users to create a projected line which is associative to the base geometry that is used to define it and which extends this base line to a given point. You can for example use this line later to attach datum symbols to it.

Usage

• Specify the line element to project to.
• Specify the end point of the newly created projected line.
• Add additional elements to the newly created projected line or to its sketch.
