REMOVE_LOFT terminate action

REMOVE_LOFT uses the lofting operation to remove material from parts.

When removing material via the lofting operation, both the part to be modified and the workplane set containing the tool profiles must already exist.

Options

The following options are available to remove lofted material from a part.

To speed up the operation, you can choose not to perform the loft checking operation. Later, when you want to check the part, you can do so explicitly using the BODY_CHECK command.

When to use

Use this action to remove material from a part via lofting.

After creating your workplanes, profiles and matchlines you are ready to perform the lofting operation. OneSpace Designer uses an option box to provide the necessary information for each freeform operation.

Example

The following parameter sequence removes material from an existing part via lofting, and lets you preview the results before accepting the modification.

REMOVE_LOFT :PARTS [specify part] :TOOL [specify workplane set] :KEEP_TOOL :NO :PREVIEW COMPLETE

All part and workplane set names must be enclosed by double quotes (" ").
