You can select objects for an ECAD group from the graphics area, the substructure pane, search results, or the contents of another group. Groups can include components and regions but not markups. ECAD groups are viewable-specific. If you have two views of the same design and add a group in one of them, the new group appears in the other view when it is activated. You can duplicate an ECAD group and save it with another name. You can control the color and visibility of ECAD groups in the Groups branch of the Color and Visibility pane.
