About Customizing Tooltips
When you place the pointer over a part in a structure or a component in a design, a tooltip appears. By default, it contains the part or component name. Configure tooltips in either of these ways:
• Enable or disable tooltips. In ECAD designs, you can enable tooltips but exclude certain types of tooltips.
• Customize tooltips to include other attributes, values, or any other text.
When you customize tooltips, you can select from any of the categories available from the CAD data or the system properties.
