When you close Creo View ECAD Validate, trail files are created in your working directory. The naming convention uses the letter n for the iteration of the trail file as follows: Validate_trl.txt.n

A trail file is for visual analysis only. You can delete trail files. However, to report an issue to Technical Support, you must provide the associated trail files. Its format changes from release to release, and, therefore, it is inappropriate for automatic parsing.
