About Transactions
A transaction is a record of a change proposal or a difference in an object in a design. This includes the addition or deletion of the entire object or one or more modifications to an object. Each transaction is identifiable by its Object ID. You can view a summary of the number and types of transactions and you can view a list of all the transactions that make up the comparison result. Filter the Transaction List to selected conditions.
When you use Creo View ECAD Validate to view a comparison of two revisions of a design, each transaction represents a difference between the two revisions. When you use it for managing the ECAD-MCAD collaboration process, each transaction represents a change proposal.
