You can change the units of measurement, and you can revert to the file's original unit of measurement. When you change the active unit for a value, it may be rounded. The rounding is specific to the value you selected. You cannot save values with changed active units to the original IDX file. The unit of measurement for a transaction is shown in the Unit column of the Transaction Attributes frame.

In the Active Units menu, the unit of measurement in use is indicated with a dot. The original unit of measurement for the IDX file is indicated in brackets next to the File units command. Values that are controlled by the active unit are displayed with the level of precision that is specified in the file.
