About Preset Views
A preset view is a PCB layout view with an appearance that helps you complete a specific task. Preset views differ from annotation sets in that they are not saved to a specific representation. Therefore, you can apply them to any design viewable. Creo View ECAD comes with two basic preset views, and you can create any number of custom preset views. A preset view has one or more of the following properties set:
• Color
• Visibility
• Orientation
• Rotation
• Overlap color
• Shape fill
• Layer order
Some settings and data are not saved to the preset view:
• Highlighting
• Isolation
• Markups
