Support for Macro-Enabled Document for Office Publishing
Creo View Adapters 11.0.0.0
Description
The Creo View Adapter for Office now supports the conversion of macro-enabled office documents (docm, pptm, xlsm). By default, office publishing converts the documents to PDF without executing macros. To execute macros, the administrator must enable the macro execution for Microsoft Office, as well as configure the recipe option.
Benefits
This enables publishing of a macro-enabled document. It also supports publishing of such documents in Visualization Content Service.
Additional Information
Tips:
Administrator should assess risk associated with enabling execution of macros in the Microsoft Office before enabling them.
Limitations:
Publishing of a macro-enabled document is not supported with the Adapter for PDF while using the Adobe Experience Manger.
Execution of macros may not be successful, but should publish be provided, there is no issue with the macro itself.
Does this replace existing functionality?
No.
Configuration option associated with this functionality:
None.
