To Manage Publishing Options and Recipe Files
1. To manage publishing options, click > > . The Publish Settings dialog box opens.
2. Click Edit Publish Options. The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
3. Next to Showing, click Illustration.
4. On the left, under Publishing, select one of the following defaults:
◦ 3D Figures
◦ 2D Figures
The Publishing-Figures page opens on the right.
| Your saved preferences from Creo Illustrate 3.0 and earlier, are automatically saved as publishing options. |
5. Optionally, you can perform the following:
◦ Add an existing option — Click
Add. The
Add Publish Option dialog box opens. Select an option from the list, then click
OK. The option is added.
◦ Create a new option — Click
Add, and then select
New. The dialog box updates.
◦ To delete an existing option — Select an option, and click
Delete. The option is deleted.
6. Optionally, to manage recipe files:
a. Click > . The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
b. Next to Showing, click Illustration.
c. On the left, click Publishing. The Publishing-Main page opens on the right.
7. To edit an option or recipe, select it, then click Edit Properties. The Edit Publish Option dialog box opens.
| If a publish option is added to the 3D publish options that has similar settings to a 2D publish option (or vice versa) a Duplicate Publish Options warning message will be displayed. |
8. In the dialog box, select a file format:
◦ 3D
◦ 2D Illustration
◦ Image
◦ Movie
The dialog box updates.
9. Define the settings. See one of these topics for more information:
10. Click OK.
Publish > 
Settings. The Publish Settings dialog box opens.
