To Create and Edit Lines in 2D Figures
You can create and edit lines and polylines for 2D figures in Creo Illustrate.
To draw a new line or polyline
1. Click
Line or
Polyline. The
Line or
Polyline tool is selected.
2. You can perform any of the following to create a line or polyline:
◦ Click and drag the line.
◦ Click and release for each point of the line.
◦ Snap to the nearest element.
3. Toggle
Line,
Polyline or press ESC to exit the tool.
To edit an existing line or polyline
1. Select an existing line or polyline.
2. Hover over the end of a line or polyline. The control handles are displayed.
3. Perform any of the following:
◦ Drag the selected control handles to edit the length or direction of the line(s).
◦ Press CTRL to select multiple control handles and edit them together.
◦ Press ALT to override direction constraints and drag the line in any direction.
