Snap to Elements in 2D Figures
Use the
Snap to Elements tool in
Creo Illustrate to specify an object snap for lines in 2D figures. For example, you can use the
Snap to Elements to create a line from the midpoint of a line to the intersection of another line. When you drag the line, the closest snap points are displayed.
Toggle Snap to Elements, to enable or disable the snap to elements tool.

Set the Parameters for Snap Points
To set the parameters for snap points, perform the following procedure:
1. Click > . The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Global.
3. Under General, select 2D Figures. The General-2D Figures page opens.
4. Select Snap to elements to enable the snap tool, and set the snap parameters:
◦ Snap to points
◦ Snap to intersections
◦ Snap to paths
5. Click Apply to apply the settings and keep the dialog box open, or click OK to apply the options and close the dialog box.
