Send Study to Cloud
Before you begin using GDX, complete the following activities in Creo Parametric:
• Fully define a study.
• In Creo Parametric 8.0 and earlier, set the configuration option windows_browser_type to chromium_browser. This ensures that GDX correctly opens in the Creo-embedded browser.

We recommend that before sending the study to the cloud, you optimize it in Creo Parametric and verify that it is properly set up and converges correctly. This saves your credits if the study does not converge properly in the cloud.
To Send Study to Cloud
You can send a fully defined study from Creo Parametric to the cloud as follows:
1. In Creo Parametric, click Send to Cloud. GDX opens in the Creo-embedded browser.
2. Enter your credentials and click Sign in. The Create Study dialog box opens.
3. Click Create. The study is uploaded to the cloud.
The uploaded study appears in the Setup Tree on the Setup tab of GDX.

After you upload the study, we recommend that you save the part in Creo Parametric to preserve its association with the uploaded study.
