About Creating Animations in Sequence Steps
In Creo Illustrate, you can create animations in steps by recording content changes and capturing the camera view. You use these tools to do so:
Record Content—Automatically records changes to parts, annotations, and symbols in the selected steps. Changes in movement, appearance, visibility, and animated effects can be recorded.
Capture Camera—Manually records a snapshot of the camera’s view (position and orientation) in the selected steps. You can capture the camera view any time, even when content recording is off or paused. A step can only contain one camera view. However, you can replace that camera view by recapturing.
Each recorded content change or camera view capture creates a new animation key in all selected steps. In each step, you can adjust the step duration and the start and end times for each animation key.
Each step can have multiple content animation keys. However, a step can only have one camera animation key.
When Record Content is selected in the Animation ribbon, a recording indicator appears in the graphics area and in the status bar. You can click the recording indicator in the status bar to pause the recording, and then click pause to restart the recording.
