To Set the Figure View
1. Open a 3D figure with loaded data (an sBOM). A prompt bar opens at the bottom of the graphics area, displaying the following options:
No figure view has been set
Use the current view—Saves the current view as the figure view.
I’ll do it later—Closes the prompt bar without saving a figure view.
2. Select Use the current view to set the view as the figure view, or select I’ll do it later to close the prompt bar.
*
The prompt bar does not close if you do not select an option.
3. To return to the figure view after modifying the view, click Home > Figure View > Go to Figure View. The Figure View opens in the graphics area.
4. To change the figure view after you modify the view, click Home > Figure View > Use Current View. The current figure is now defined as Figure View.
*
If you select Show in Separate Window, the prompt bar remains in the graphics area.
When you save a figure, the current view is saved in addition to the figure view.
The Figure View prompt bar does not show when you are working in Structure Edit mode or Preview Sequence mode.
