1. Click File > Options. The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.

2. Next to Showing, select Global.

3. On the left, under General, select Recovery. The General-Recovery options open on the right.

4. To save recovered files, select Save recovery file, and then set the file save interval.

5. Next to Time between saves, set the number of minutes between file saves.

6. To show recovery files on startup, select Show recovery files on startup.

7. Click Apply to apply the settings and continue setting options, or click OK to apply the settings and close the dialog box.
