You can configure Creo Illustrate, to automatically save your illustrations as you make changes. You can see messages about these automatic saves in the

Messages pane on the lower panel.

If you exit Creo Illustrate prematurely, before you save changes, the Recover Files dialog box will open when you restart the application.

You can set the recovery options for automatic saves in the Creo Illustrate Options dialog box.
