To Manually Export and Import Localization Files
The export procedure is directly below, and the import procedure follows.
*
If you are working with Windchill Service Information Manager, you cannot manually export or import text. Instead, an XLIFF file is automatically created when you check in your illustration. When you open an illustration with new languages to import, they are imported automatically. For updates to existing languages, the only required action is to accept the automatic updates.
To Export Files for Localization
1. Click Tools > Export Text. The Export Text dialog box opens.
2. Select the ZIP file to export.
*
If you export a file that is already partially localized, a dialog box opens. Choose to export all the text, or only the updated text.
To Import Localized Files
1. Click Tools > Import Text. The Import Text dialog box opens.
2. Select one or more XLIFF or ZIP files to import, and then click Open. The files are imported and merged with the original files.
