To Create, Edit, or Delete an Attribute
Attributes for Schematic Figures
1. In the Attribute Manager dialog box, choose whether to edit an attribute or create a new one:
a. To create an attribute, click New Attribute. The New Attribute dialog box opens.
b. To edit an attribute, select it, and then right-click and select Edit Attribute. The Edit Attribute dialog box opens. Skip to step 4.
2. Next to Item type, select the type of object to contain the attribute.
3. Next to Name, type a name for the attribute.
4. Next to Value, type the attribute’s value.
5. Click OK.
6. To delete a user-defined attribute, select it, and then click Delete Attribute. The attribute is deleted.
Attributes for 3D Figures

The Attribute Manager for 3D figures, is only available in Structure Edit mode.
In the Attribute Manager dialog box, choose whether to delete an attribute or create a new one:
1. To create an attribute, click New. The Add New Attribute dialog box opens.
a. Next to Name, type a name for the attribute.
b. Next to Category, type the name of a new category, or select a category from the list.
To edit or delete an existing category from the list, click Manage Categories to open the Category Manager dialog box.
c. Next to Default Value, type a default value for the attribute.
2. Click OK. The Add New Attribute dialog box closes.
3. To delete a user-defined attribute, select it, and then click Delete Attribute. The attribute is deleted.
