To Manage Publishing Options or Recipe Files
1. To manage publishing options, follow these steps:
a. Click File > Publish > Settings. The Publish Settings dialog box opens.
b. Click Edit Publish Options. The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
c. Next to Showing, click Illustration.
d. On the left, under Publishing, select one of the following options:
▪ 3D Figures
▪ 2D Figures
The Publishing-Figures page opens on the right.

• If you have saved publish preferences in your preferences directory from Creo Illustrate 3.0 and earlier, they are automatically saved as publishing options.
• You can also set the defaults for these options from the Creo Illustrate Options dialog box. Select Illustration, and then on the left under Publishing, click 2D Figures or 3D Figures.
Go to step 3.
2. To manage recipe files, follow these steps:
a. Click File > Options. The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
b. Next to Showing, click Illustration.
c. On the left, click Publishing. The Publishing-Main page opens on the right.
3. Perform one of these operations:
◦ To add an existing option, click Add. The Add Publish Option dialog box opens. Select the option from the list. Click OK. The item is added.
◦ To create a new option, Add, and then select New. The dialog box updates. Continue to step 4 below.
◦ To edit an option or recipe, select it, and then click Edit Properties. The Edit Publish Option dialog box opens. Continue to step 4 below.
◦ To delete an option or recipe, select it, and then click Delete. The option is deleted.

If a publish option is added to the 3D publish options that has similar settings to a 2D publish option (or vice versa) a Duplicate Publish Options warning message will be displayed.
4. In the dialog box, select a file format:
◦ 3D
◦ 2D Illustration
◦ Image
The dialog box updates.
5. Define the settings. See one of these topics for more information:

6. Click OK.
