About the Status Bar
The status bar provides information about the status of the active file. You may see tips and messages regarding status, or a progress indicator, depending on the task you are performing. You can use the tools on the status bar to perform the actions described in the list below:
—Hides or shows the primary panel.
—Hides or shows the upper data panel.
—Hides or shows the lower data panel.
—Hides or shows the graphics area. Press CTRL+F8 or click the arrow at the top of the figure view to restore view.
Publish—Displays the settings for publishing, such as .
—Indicates the current recording status is on. Click to change the status. This icon is disabled when the recording is off.
—Indicates the current recording status is off. Click to change the status. This icon is disabled when the recording is off.
Length Unit—Displays the unit, such as that is being used for length. Click to open the Creo IllustrateOptions dialog box to change the length units for the current view.
Selected Items—Indicates the number of items, such as that are selected. Click to open the Selected Items dialog box to remove items from the current selection.
Selection method—Sets the selection filter for the active figure. Selectable filters include: Smart, Parts, Constructions, Markups, Model Annotations, Faces, Edges, Axes,Points and Datums.
—Shows the messages log in the lower data panel. To make this available on the status bar, click File > Options to open the Creo IllustrateOptions dialog box. Next to Showing, select Global. Under General-Main, click the Log messages check box.
Standard—Shows which Standard is applied to the Schematic Illustration.
