About Assembling Items
In the Creo Illustrate full edition, use the Assemble tool in the Figure view or in Edit Structure mode to accurately change the location, orientation, or both, of one or more items in a figure. On the Assemble tab, select the items to move, and then define an origin and a destination coordinate system. The Origin CSYS is the reference coordinate system for the selected items. The Destination CSYS is the reference coordinate system for the items’ new locations. The selected items move as one rigid body. Use the linear and rotational offsets to fine-tune the position of the moved items.
The box in the Selection group shows the number of selected items by type. You can view a list of the selected items in the Selection dialog box, and you can remove items from the list.
If you use the Edit Structure tool to insert new items into an sBOM, you can use the Assemble tool to position them.
