To Instance Highways
1. Click > > . The Catalog Selector opens.
2. Select a highway from the Name list and a highway shape from the Highwayshapes list.

3. Click
OK. The
Catalog Selector closes, or move the
Catalog Explorer, the pointer changes to
.
4. Click on the sheet to begin, and route the highway.
5. Right-click and from the shortcut choose:
◦ Terminate—Ends the highway.
◦ Select cross sheet graphics—Opens the Catalog Selector dialog box. Select a port.
◦ Insert break—Opens the Select Sheet dialog box. Select the sheet to continue routing the highway.
◦ Exit Tool—Exits the instance highway tool.
Route Highway. The Catalog Selector opens.
Catalog Explorer to open the Catalog Explorer.
