To Define Custom Commands
1. Click File > Options > Environment. The Change environment options for working with Creo page opens.
2. Click Custom Command Settings. The Define Custom Command dialog box opens.
3. Select a category from the list.
All Custom Commands—Displays all custom commands. You can copy a command from the list, but you cannot add a new command.
Custom Reports—Displays the default custom report commands. You can copy a command or add new commands to the list. The default icon for the custom reports button is .
Custom Java—Displays all custom Java commands. You can copy a command or add new commands to the list. The default icon for the custom Java button is .
Custom Shortcuts—Displays all shortcut commands for instancing design items. You can copy a command or add new commands to the list. Each predefined custom command has an identifying icon for the custom button.
Custom Trails—Displays custom commands for playing trail files. You can copy a command or add new commands to the list. The default icon for the custom button is .
4. To create a new custom command, click New. A new command appears in the list.
5. To copy a command, click Copy. A copy of the command appears in the list.
6. To delete a command, select it in the list and click Delete. The command is deleted.
7. Type a new name for the command in the Label box, or leave the default label. This is the label that will appear on the command button.
8. Type a description in the Description box. This is the text that will appear in the button tooltip.
9. To define a trigger for the custom command, click Assign Mapkey. The Mapkey Editor dialog box opens. Specify the mapkey and click Assign. Click Close.
10. Click OK.
11. Add the custom button to a custom group.
12. Customize the button image.
