To Create a Mapkey
1. Click File > Options > Environment. The Change environment options for working with Creo Schematics page opens.
2. In the General environment area, click Mapkeys Settings. The Mapkey Editor dialog box opens.
3. Select a command from the Commands list.
4. Type an alphanumeric sequence in the Mapkey box using the keypad in the dialog box or the keyboard.

If a key on the keypad is blue, it is already in use for a previous mapkey and cannot be used to end the sequence.
5. Click to delete unwanted characters.
6. Click Assign to assign the mapkey.
7. Click Close.
