To Control Blanking of a Fiber
When a fiber label overlays the fiber on the design sheet, it causes a break in the fiber. This is known as fiber blanking because a section of the fiber is blank, or not visible. You can set the width and length of this section of the fiber.
1. Click Design > Design Properties > Blanking Properties. The Fiber blank details dialog box opens.
2. Enter values for the following options:
Blank width—Sets the size of the font used for the label text. This value is the width of the fiber covered by the label.
Blank margin—Sets the length of the fiber that is blanked.
3. Click OK.
