To Compare Catalog Items
1. Click > . The Catalog Options dialog box opens.
2. Click Dependent and set the path to the Central catalog directory and the Temporary submission directory.
3. Click OK. When there is a duplication of entries, the Central Catalog Failures dialog box opens.
4. To view the failed item in the catalog click it in the list and click
. The catalog item appears in the graphics window and the
Compare Internal and Central Catalog Items dialog box opens.
5. Click the item that failed from the list, right-click and choose Compare from the shortcut menu. The Compare Internal and Central Catalog Items dialog box opens. The internal catalog and Central Catalog shapes are displayed side by side for comparison. A table of the item's parameters is displayed.
6. When either the internal catalog or the Central Catalog has more than one shape, you can select a different shape to compare from either one or both the lists. The shape is displayed and the table updates.
7. Select a Resolution option:
◦ Replace with central catalog item—Replaces the local catalog item with the Central Catalog item.
◦ Rename internal item—Activates the New name box. Type a name in the box and press ENTER.
8. Click OK.
Catalog. The Catalog Options dialog box opens.
