Wires are routed in the WID, based on the circuit ID in the CID.

To select a circuit, select a fiber from the CID sheet and the selection is automatic in the WID sheet. You can also select a circuit fiber from report results to route the wiring fibers or manually type the Circuit ID in the box on the CID/WID tab. The route tool checks for incorrect manual entries. Components with the same circuit ID and mated connector ports with the same circuit ID are highlighted and you can control the colors used for the highlighting. The selection of the data set is automated. The WID Fiber data set selection is filtered, based on the values of the CID fibers, wire_gauge and color.
