Release: Creo Schematics 4.0
Benefits and Description
You can watch a video that demonstrates this capability.
When you select the Show the Ports circuit_id column in the Place Wiring Components dialog box check box, the circuit_id column appears in the Place Wiring Components dialog box. You can automatically search for blocks, and groups of the type component, on all CID sheets. The objects Component!splice, Component!terminal, and Component!connector are ignored in the search.
Using the interactive report you can perform the actions described below:
Access component parameters.
Zoom to the selected component.
Place the shape of the selected item. You are prompted for shape selection if multiple shapes exist in the catalog.
Refresh the results.
Automatic identification of components that require placement in WID improves efficiency.
