About Verifying the Design
Use the Verification tools to make sure all components, connectors, and connections are placed properly in the Wiring diagram. The following reports are available:
Missing Component Shapes—Reports all components instanced in the Circuit diagram that do not have shapes in the Wiring diagram.
Components with Missing Connectors—Reports all components with missing connectors.
Circuit Connectivity Verification Results—Reports all circuits in the Wiring diagram where the connectivity is not in accordance to the connectivity in the Circuit diagram. The WID connectivity is traced between major components, through splices, inline connectors, and terminals.
Components Ports with Mismatched Connections—Reports all ports with connections that do not match the circuit ID.
Wire Gauge Verification Results—Reports wires that do not have the same wire gauge on the Wiring diagram as on Circuit diagram.
Wire Color Verification Results—Reports wires that do not have the same wire color on the Wiring diagram as on the Circuit diagram.
In all reports you can find components on the design sheets, instance the missing shape or route the missing conductor, and filter the report results.
*
You can only verify connectivity of circuit_id parameter values that appear in the Circuit diagram. Wires in the Wiring diagram without a Circuit diagram representation are not verified.
