About Managing Datatables Using the Datatable Explorer
Use the Datatable Explorer to manage the datatables in a design. Click Design > Datatable Explorer to open the Datatable Explorer dialog box. A list of folders, files, datatables, or membermaps opens in the left pane. A list of datatables available in the selected folder or the datatable selected displays in the right pane.
Choose a Filter from the list to control datatable display from the Central Catalog, the Internal Catalog, or both catalogs:
Show All—Displays all datatables in the Central Catalog and Internal Catalog.
Internal and Used External—Displays datatables present in the Internal Catalog and items used from the Central Catalog.
Internal only—Displays only Internal Catalog datatables.
External only—Displays only Central Catalog datatables.
Folder and datatable catalog item status is shown by the following indicators:
—Preferred items. These are items found in the Central Catalog and currently used in the design or Internal Catalog items.
—Approved items. These are items found in the Central Catalog and not used in the design.
—Pending items. These are found in the Internal Catalog and have been submitted to the Temporary Submission Directory.
—New items. These are found only in the Internal Catalog.
To perform actions on the selected folder or file, right-click and choose a command from the shortcut menu or use one of the following buttons:

—Deletes the selected table. This button is available only when a datatable or membermap is selected, and the selected table does not have any references.
—Edits the parameters of the selected folder.
Submit—Submits the selected item to the Temporary Submission Directory. This option is available only from the shortcut menu.
