Creo View Export Profile Settings Are Improved
The export profile for Creo View is enhanced to include new options for the Creo tessellation settings.
User Interface Location: Click File > Save As > Save a Copy and then in the Type box select a Creo View type. Click Options.
Release: Creo Parametric 5.0.0.0
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
You can define the edge display and shade display quality for the export to Creo View formats.
Creo tessellation is the preferred approach when exporting from Creo Parametric. Using this method creates an output that closely resembles the display within Creo Parametric.
In previous releases, you must change the edge display and shade display quality for your model in the graphics window. In Creo Parametric 5.0.0.0 from the Creo View Export Profile Settings dialog box, you can select Automatic or Custom:
Automatic—Uses the edge and shade display settings from your Creo Parametric session
Custom—Improves the quality of the settings only for the export
When saving the profile, you can designate it as the default profile when exporting your data to a Creo View format. Alternatively, you can edit the settings on the fly for the given session from the Save a Copy dialog box.
