The engine log file (study/study.stt file) maintains detailed information on how much memory, disk space, elapsed time, and CPU time the engine uses as your job runs. Results inconsistent with the trends in this file can help you identify and fix performance problems and resource shortages.
The following topics describe some ways in which you can monitor resource requirements and improve performance during an analysis.
Managing RAM, Solram and Swap Space
Memory Usage—Different Scenarios
Guidelines for Disk Usage and Allocating Swap Space
Guidelines for Setting Solram
