About Mill Volumes
To define a Mill Volume, you can reference the geometry of the design model, sketch the volume to be machined or excluded, intersect the volume with the workpiece or reference model, or offset surfaces (for example, by tool radius). You can use this set of tools in any combinations to define a single Mill Volume.
You can either pre-define a Mill Volume or define it asynchronously while creating an NC sequence. To create a mill volume, click Manufacturing > Mill Volume. Creo NC activates the Mill Volume tab. Creo NC also assigns a default name to the mill volume. You can modify this name, if required.
