About Exporting a Drawing to Other Formats
You can export a drawing to a data file in the following formats:
IGES (.igs)
CGM (.cgm)
Stheno (.tsh)
TIFF (.tiff)
DXF, (.dxf)
DWG, (.dwg)
STEP (.stp)
Medusa (.she)
PDF (.pdf)

* Formats such as, DWG, Medusa, Stheno, and PDF may not be supported on all the platforms.
Sheets are exported one at a time. The drawing file name with the sheet number appended is the new file name.

* If you export a drawing with shaded views to the DXF or DWG format, an image file with the .jpg extension is created along with the respective .dxf or .dwg file. To view the shaded image in AutoCAD, ensure that the .jpg image file is in the same folder as the .dxf or .dwg file.
