To Export to a Neutral File
1. Open a part or assembly model and click
File >
Save As >
Save a Copy. The
Save a Copy dialog box opens.
2. Select Neutral (*.neu) in the Type box.
3. Accept the default export model name or type a new model name in File name.
4. Click Options. The Neutral Export Profile Settings export profile editor opens.
5. Click Load Profile and select a stored Neutral export profile or customize the export options in Neutral Export Profile Settings.
6. Click OK in Neutral Export Profile Settings.
7. Click OK in the Save a Copy dialog box to export the model or select the Customize Export check box before you click OK to select a coordinate system for the exported model.
If you select the Customize Export check box, the Export NEUTRAL dialog box opens.
8. Use the default coordinate system or select a coordinate system for the part or assembly.
9. Click Export in the Export NEUTRAL dialog box. The part or assembly model is exported to the Neutral format using the customized export profile options and the coordinate system selected in the Export NEUTRAL dialog box.
