About Importing an Optegra EPD.Connect _ps File with CATIA V4 and V5 Models
You can import EPD.Connect _ps product structure files that consist of data sets of large designs. The Optegra EPD.Connect _ps files are ASCII files that represent product structures which reference other _ps files or CAD models such as CATIA V4 *.model and CATIA V5 *.CATPart geometry files.

* The Optegra EPD.Connect _ps product structure files ignore references to any other CAD file type except CATIA V4 *.model and CATIA V5 *.CATPart geometry files. For example, references to CADDS 5 _pd part or CATIA V4 session files are ignored.
You must have the following licenses to import the Optegra EPD.Connect _ps files that refer to CATIA V4 *.model and CATIA V5 *.CATPart files:
CATIA II interface with ATB license for CATIA V4 *.model files
Creo CATIA V5 Collaboration license for CATIA V5 *.CATPart files
If you want to access Optegra EPD.Connect _ps files and CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 files from a location other than the working directory, then set one or more instances of the extend_cvpath configuration option to valid locations of the Optegra EPD.Connect _ps and CATIA V4 and V5 files.
The imported data is Associative Topology Bus (ATB) enabled. You can perform ATB operations such as Check Status, Update, Change Link, and Make Independent on the imported data.
