About Element Definition Dialog Boxes
After you select a library element, an element-specific definition dialog box opens from which you to define a specific element definition and references.
Not all definition boxes are identical but there are areas that they have in common, such as those described below:
Preview—After an element is selected, its preview appears in the preview area, including placement and other variables.
Information—Definition information, such as length or width
Boxes for values—Value entry boxes for lengths, widths, and other measurements
Check boxes—Select or clear the check box to toggle options on or off.
Select references—Available when references must be selected.
Select optional references—Available when additional references or dimensions are required.
Table—One or more tables may appear at the bottom of the dialog box from which you can select standard definition (instance) values.
