What is the benefit of this enhancement?
You can now automatically add weld parameters to the weld symbols, and pass on the information to Windchill when the symbol instance is designated.
Parameters are predefined for the weld symbols. When the weld symbols are created in the model, the relevant weld parameters are automatically added to the corresponding weld symbol instance according to the weld feature definition. When designating the weld symbol, all weld symbol parameters are passed to Windchill MPMlink.
This enhancement provides you with an easy way to pass the weld symbol parameters information to Windchill and leverage them further downstream.
