What is the benefit of this enhancement?
You can now use the improved Mirror command in Freestyle to mirror complete shapes by a selected datum plane. You can continue using the existing functionality to mirror mesh faces.
The shapes mirrored using the Mirror command are dependent on the original shape:
You can enable or disable the mirrored shape dependency that allows further refinement of the given shapes.
You can break the dependency by making each shape independent of one another.
You can connect or join mesh faces between the mirrored shapes.
You can delete the mirror or change the mirror plane through the Freestyle Tree.
This enhancement expands the mirror function and allows you to mirror complete shapes across a defined datum plane. It improves productivity and user experience. It enables you to easily mirror specific shapes to improve usability. It also supports preserved symmetry needed in the reconstruction process for Generative Design.
