What is the benefit of this enhancement?
You can now select and manipulate the subdivided control mesh through a set of new brush tools. The following brushes are available in the Brush dialog box: Select, Reset, Pull, Move, Smooth, Inflate, Flatten, and Attach.
You can also control the setting for each brush to define the brush size, softness, and intensity.
With a selected brush, you can dynamically modify the control mesh of any shape, and update the underlying Freestyle surface.
Previously, it was challenging to locally modify Freestyle geometry, especially in case of high-density control mesh. Fixing a Generative Design reconstruction geometry was also very time consuming.
This enhancement improves the productivity and user experience. It enables sculpting-like capabilities to easily manipulate dense control meshes, and provides an effective way to modify reconstruction geometry to improve the overall definition.
