Using Divide Surfaces in Creo Simulation Live
You can now divide surfaces in Creo Parametric. You can split surfaces with sketches or curves. This method supports any method of creation of surfaces.
You can apply boundary conditions for any type of simulation.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
This enhancement is useful when you split geometry faces, so that you could select specific surfaces for applying boundary conditions for structural, thermal, modal, and fluid simulations in Creo Simulation Live.
Previously, it was not possible to divide surfaces in Creo Parametric.
This enhancement helps you to apply boundary conditions more accurately for simulation. It also provides you with more realistic loads and constraints with fewer assumptions.
