What is the benefit of this enhancement?
A geometry pattern now supports the Identical regeneration option for increased performance. Previously, this regeneration option was not available for a Geometry Pattern.
The improved performance enables a faster regeneration of a geometry pattern when the attachment type is identical for all pattern members (for example, all pattern members attach to the same planar surface).
This option results in a faster regeneration speed for:
• Geometry pattern of the selected geometry
• Geometry pattern of grouped features
This enhancement increases productivity due to a dramatically faster regeneration of the geometry pattern when compared to the General option, and still significantly faster regeneration when compared to the Variable option.
