Use the Sweep tool to create a sheet metal wall or surface with constant or variable section sweep geometry. When a swept wall is not the first wall, use the tool to create a solid cut. For a constant section swept surface or wall, sketch a closed section and then sweep it along a sketched trajectory. For a variable section swept surface or wall, use multiple trajectories aligned with the section vertices.

You can redefine a swept wall as a surface, or a swept surface as a wall, if the wall is not the first one in a design. You must specify thickness for a first wall. Keep in mind that additional options specific to Sheetmetal Design are available for the Sweep tool.
