To Detect Geometry Junctions
Use the Highlight Junctions diagnostic tool to detect and highlight geometry junctions. A junction is defined as one of the following:
A point where three or more geometry endpoints meet
A point on an entity, excluding endpoints, that coincides with one or more geometry endpoints
A tangent point
Junctions are highlighted in red using the thick highlight scheme. Entities that contribute to the junction are highlighted using the standard sketcher geometry color and the thick highlight scheme. The tool does not highlight construction geometry junctions.
The following are examples of geometry junctions:
To enable the Highlight Junctions tool, perform one of these operations:
Click Sketch > Inspect > Highlight Junctions.
In 2D Sketcher, click Sketch > Inspection Tools > Highlight Junctions or click Analysis > Highlight Junctions.
On the Graphics toolbar, click Inspection Tools Display Filters > Highlight Junctions.
Click File > Options > Sketcher > Highlight geometry junctions.
