Specifying Inlet Boundary Conditions
1. Under Boundary Conditions, General Boundaries select inlet.
2. In the Model tab select the following values for the options listed:
◦ Flow—Specified Pressure Inlet
◦ Pressure—250000 Pa
Specifying Outlet Boundary Conditions
1. Under Boundary Conditions select outlet.
2. In the Model tab select the following values for the options listed:
◦ Flow—Specified Pressure Outlet
◦ Pressure—95000 Pa
Specifying Volume Conditions
1. Under Domains, select ORIFICE_CAVITATION.
2. In the Properties panel, Model tab, set the following:
◦ For Common, under Liquid Density, set Value to 1000 kg/m3
◦ For Common, under Saturation Pressure, set Value to 0.001 Pa-s
◦ For Flow, set Viscosity to 0.001 Pa-s
▪ For Initial Conditions, set Pressure to 150000 Pa
▪ For Initial Conditions, set Velocity to 15, 0, 0
