Propagation of Weld Feature Semantic References to Its Weld Symbols
A new enhancement has been added to propagate the semantic references of weld features to their weld symbols.
User Interface Location: Select a weld symbol and observe that its references are highlighted.
Release: Creo Parametric 8.0.0.0

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
The semantic references of the weld feature are required for human and machine interpretation.
When you create a weld feature, a weld symbol is also created. This enhancement propagates all the weld semantic references from the weld feature to its symbol. The created references contain both the primary references and the resulting welding geometry references.
This enhancement is useful when you want to make sure that the weld symbols contain all the semantic references that are required for the MBD workflow. After a weld symbol is created, you can select it to highlight its references on the screen. The semantic query tool also supports weld symbols, and you can use it to highlight their references.
This enhancement ensures compliance with the recent detailing standards for weld semantics. The semantic references are automatically managed by the weld feature.
